Here is an overview of the issue:

Key: DERBY-31
Summary: Statement.setQueryTimeout() support.
Type: New Feature
Status: Unassigned
Priority: Major
Project: Derby
Components:
JDBC

Reporter: Ali Demir
Created: Mon, 4 Oct 2004 11:54 AM
Updated: Mon, 11 Oct 2004 10:35 AM
Environment: ALL
Description:
Calling Statement.setQueryTimeout() throws exception saying that function is
not supported. This is an important JDBC feature and is limiting our options to
use Derby with our JDBC code. Implementing this JDBC function would make Derby
much easier to adopt.
