ant also does not clean any files that have been deleted - so you might 
possibly pick up things that are no longer there. 

But that is rare. I usually only rebuild if I'm ready to do something official 
- like running the tests for the last time before submitting a patch - or if I 
get strange errors. 

That's how I read that sentence in BUIILDING.TXT: - clobber and rebuild when 
you have *problems* ,after svn update.
