I should have explained what a "mod_mbox url" is -- sorry!
Apache uses mod_mbox to archive the mail lists. A mod_mbox url (or
'uri') points to a specific post in the archive. derby-dev is archived here:
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/db-derby-dev/
To obtain the mod_mbox url for a post, find that post in the archives,
then copy the url in your browser. For example, the url for the post
this one is responding to is:
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/db-derby-dev/200506.mbox/[EMAIL

Well, I realized for the Getting started I should've added to the bug,
but JIRA is so slow as to be effectively off the air, sorry...
You can check Jira status here:
http://monitoring.apache.org/status/
Perhaps it might help if you update the Jira issues with a mod_mbox url
to your posts. List volume is so high this will keep your valuable
feedback from getting lost.
