I managed to reproduce it in my environment.
I changed the suite method so that it only ran the testSimpleXplainOnly test
case. That is, I replaced
TestSuite allTests = new TestSuite(XplainStatisticsTest.class,
"XplainStatisticsTest");
with
Test allTests = new XplainStatisticsTest("testSimpleXplainOnly");
Then I ran the test 20 times, and it failed 17 times. So it looks like it can
be reproduced, but not 100% reliably. This was with Java 7u25, 64-bit, on Linux.
