Hi Kim,
The documentation for the -jar option of the java command says the following:
"When you use this option, the JAR file is the source of all user classes, and
other user class path settings are ignored." I think the problem is that the
manifest for derbyrun.jar sets up its own class path which does not include
derbyTesting.jar. Hope this helps.
