What level of client/server compatibility is Derby meant to support. This is just about the derby version of the software on the client machine and the version of the software on the server machine. Not asking anything about the version used to create the database being accessed.
Is any mismatch of software allowed, ie.
o old client with new server or
o new client with old server
I tried looking in doc, but nothing jumped out at me in searching.
