Thanks! The new diff seems much cleaner to me.
I went through your patch and did some mechanical
changes to clean up some tabs-vs-spaces whitespace diffs,
and uploaded the resulting copy of the diff.
Can you double check that the diff still looks correct to you?
I didn't spot anything else to comment on in my proofreading;
I'm going to try doing some more testing with your diff applied.
