I'm getting closer to being able to announce the 10.14.1.0 release. The problem with the mirror dropdown was fixed by upgrading my Forrest version to 0.9. It used to be that you had to massage the cgi boilerplate on the generated download page due to a bug in older Forrest versions. The advice for massaging the cgi boilerplate was removed when committers began using Forrest 0.9 to build the website. I have updated the instructions at https://wiki.apache.org/db-derby/ReleasePrep to note that Forrest 0.9 is required in order to successfully publish the download page.

I have logged my next INFRA request, asking for clarification on how to post the release announcement to [email protected].
