Rick Hillegas commented on DERBY-6982:
--------------------------------------

My only thoughts in this area are that I want to use SVG to draw diagrams for
inclusion in the public javadoc. SVG looks like an attractive image format for
our xml-based docs as well. Some work might be needed to get the SVG documents
to survive the translation of the xml source into html output. Thanks.

> Example: Execution Plans
> [https://db.apache.org/derby/docs/10.3/tuning/ctundepth853133.html]
> Quote: "... For inserts, updates, and deletes, rows flow out of the top,
> where they are inserted, updated, or deleted. For selects (queries), rows
> flow out of the top into a result set that is returned to the user..."
> Visualizing this was only possible because I've seen execution plan
> visualizations on tools like SQL Server Management Studio, and such.
> Any plans to have images in the HTML online documentations in the future?
