Hi,
I came across this issue/enhancement while answering the question about
"Creating the location of the derby.log file". There is a property
called 'derby.stream.error.file=<filename>' which can be set in the
derby.properties. After setting this up everything for the derby.log
including the message about starting the db and shutting down goes to
the filename given. So now my concern is doesn't that property name is
misleading?? Can we change it from 'derby.stream.error.file' to some
other name? may be 'derby.stream.log.file'?
