Sunitha, since this seems to add new functionality, should this entry be listed 
in DerbyDevActivities Wiki page? I think keeping that page accurate, while 
optional, will help ensure documentation and/or release note additions are done 
correctly for 10.2. Let me know if you need the Wiki URL, I am sure you know 
it. :)

I will update the wiki and also add comment to this jira about the 
impact on older clients etc so we could add information in the release 
notes.
