Kathey Marsden commented on DERBY-345:
--------------------------------------

This can be done by starting with java -Dderby.system.home=<location>

The bigger problem is how to allow different applications each have their own
derby.system.home or derby.properties file. Is that what this issue is
requesting?

> Need to add a property to startNetworkServer.* to specify be able to set the
> derby.system.home property

> Currently the network server always creates and looks for databases where the
> server was started. Need to be able to specify the setting for
> derby.system.home .
