And it would have helped if I had read my own instructions at
http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/10.0/web_site.html . We created
derby/docs/branches/10.0 last year for this very purpose.
It's different from the main web site because the built pages aren't
checked into svn, so I had forgotten about derby/docs/10.0 and
incorrectly assumed I had done an ad hoc local build.
