I have just attached a functional specification to Derby-1330 which covers
1)Building and saving the privilege requirements for views, triggers, and constraints in system table and impact of revoke privilege on these objects.
2)The runtime privilege checking for routines, triggers, views, and constraints.
For both these items, the spec covers what is expected by SQL2003 specification. In addition, it lists the existing Derby Authorization behavior and the proposed behavior for Derby SQL Standard Authorization. I will appreciate all the feedback from the community on the functional spec.
