FYI, I am in the middle of discussing with my family whether it will
work for me to attend. If so, I'd be happy to do this. That said, if I
can attend, I'll also be giving the talk on Embedded Derby so if someone
else is planning on coming they are welcome to do the lightning talk!

I found Josh on #derby and he provided a couple more details. The OSCON
committee has decided to eliminate full length "state of" or "intro to"
sessions because there simply isn't room enough in the schedule.
Instead, they're scheduling a session that will host 5 minute lightening
talks for a bunch of projects.
At any rate, any active derby contributor is welcome to participate.

Derby folks,
In addition to one 45m talk, we have scheduled a five minute "lightning
talk" to on the "State of Derby" to bring OSCON attendees up to date on
your project. Currently, Francois Orsini is scheduled for both the
full-length and the 5min "State of" talk.
If any other Derby committers are going to be at OSCON, I wanted to give
someone else a chance to do the 5 minute update. Please e-mail me
directly if you're already planning on being at OSCON and are interested;
I'm not subscribed to this list. Or find me on irc.freenode.net,
"agliodbs".
