I often have to look at the svn history for a checkin range e.g.
svn log -r 405803:409283

On the 10.1 branch I see lots of commits with comments like this:

DERBY-324 Merged by svn merge -r 232996:232997 ../trunk/ Originally submitted
Olav Sandstaa
------------------------------------------------------------------------

It would be good if commit comments included the issue summary:

e.g.
DERBY-324 AES encryption test fails on Solaris 10
Merged by svn merge -r 232996:232997 ../trunk/ Originally submitted
Olav Sandstaa

Helps prevent a round trip to Jira for each issue commtted.
