I don't know the answer to Dan's question. Hopefully the tech writers can field 
this one.

It would be appealing if the documents shared a common file of parameters. 
Again, maybe the tech writers can help us understand why each document has its 
own file of parameters and why common parameters are duplicated across these 
files.
