yes.
1) Two new procedure that are added as part of real-time online backup
(DERBY-239) will not be available on soft-upgrade.
SYSCS_UTIL.SYSCS_ONLINE_BACKUP_DATABASE_NOWAIT(..)
and
SYSCS_UTIL.SYSCS_BACKUP_DATABASE_AND_ENABLE_LOG_ARCHIVE_MODE_NOWAIT (...)
2) encryption of an existing un-encrypted database and re-encryption
of encrypted database with new password phrase/external key. (DERBY-1156)
