Luigi, correct me if I'm wrong, but JNLP provides a way to access storage
through its PersistenceService that doesn't require granting all permissions to
the code. The key value this provides is about usability and security: if you
run Derby in Java Web Start using this storage provider, it will not pop up a
security box asking if you would like to open up your computer to this code,
just because it wants to access the local file system.
