Rick Hillegas commented on DERBY-2388:
--------------------------------------

JDBC describes a lot of optional methods, and this section does tell you which
methods and interfaces Derby does not support. So I would say that this section
is a useful reference. In tackling this task, it might be worthwhile to get
advice from Lance Anderson, the JDBC spec lead. In the past, he has found
Derby's JDBC documentation to be spotty and confusing. Fortunately for us, he
listens on the derby-dev list.

> The JDBC reference section isn't in alphabetical order either. It might make
> sense to reorder it to correspond with the javadoc (which separates
> interfaces, classes, and exceptions into subgroups and orders them
> alphabetically). I'd also suggest putting java.sql.Driver.getPropertyInfo in
> a subtopic under java.sql.Driver.
