I got some of the magic by using org.apache.derbyBuild.JiraConnector,
which uses JIRA's XML search option, but JIRA XML searches appear
quite limited - how do you do 'or'? How do you do exclude?
If only we had a SQL database with XML capabilities ...

Very soon we will be able to deploy a VTI against the JIRA reports and
we will be able to AND, OR, and NOT to our heart's content.
