can you reproduce this in embedded, starting with a new database using the 
10.3.3.0 release?  This release
has a fix for a serious problem with I/O access to page 0.  It is important to 
differentiate between testing against
the new release with a new database and testing against the new release with an 
existine database.  Unfortunately
once the problem happens no future software version can fix the problem.
