I ran on my linux machine with ibm15 and there was no problem.
I am running on the windows machine where I saw the original problem with Sun's
1.6 jvm (an old version, but shouldn't matter) and so far, no problem (needs a
couple more hours).
I am lowering the priority; it seems to me enough people have run this test to
indicate that it's certainly no common problem; that it doesn't happen with
insane builds; and that it's possibly a (old) jvm issue.
I'll do a few more runs with different jvms/jvm versions.
