If you would like to produce a heap dump on another machine at the same point
in the test with the IBM 1.6 jvm you can gc() and then call
com.ibm.jvm.Dump.HeapDump();
com.ibm.jvm.Dump.JavaDump();
The same tool mentioned in the previous comment can read the heap dump.
Then you can see if those Statement objects are present on other platforms.
Perhaps you could also just run with a slightly smaller heap set in
derbyStress_app.properties to get the OOM.
