I had an idea against an initiative of rebuilding existing SQL/XML tests on base of XMLUnit framework. I want to take part in that stuff. To understand how effective will XMLUnit be for https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-563 and https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-688. Besides XMLUnit has a dedicated Xpath testing tool. Should be very useful. John
