Thanks for finding these problems with the release notes, Knut. I have
addressed them as follows and checked in the changes at subversion revision
946175:
1) These are actually different issues than the ones we fixed earlier. We just
didn't find them in our previous reviews.
2-3) I have removed all of these dead links. Forrest insists on removing our
internal anchors and adding its own anchors, using generated ids. Chasing
Forrest's generated anchors is not worthwhile. I have added this explanation to
the release instructions--hopefully this will help the next release manager
avoid this problem.
