The code in question has been changed since version 10.3.1.4, so it would be
interesting if you could try a later version (I'd suggest 10.6.1.0) and see if
it's still a problem. I remember that we fixed some problems where
derby.language.logQueryPlan caused NPE on close a couple releases ago.
