I didn't really test the *.md5 and *.asc files.
I randomly picked a handful of the release binaries, and verified the md5 values using 'openssl dgst -md5 <file>' and found no problems. I also checked a couple of the *asc files with GPG. Both these were on a Ubuntu Linux system. So all seems well there to me. thanks, bryan
