Actually on a related note, I think the apacheVanillaJiraReport is one
of our public demo's. It would be great to get some sort of stable
input and have a nightly test for it. I think it is important for
the demos to work.

That means it won't go away at this time. I just wanted to find out if
the class was being used or not.
I'm not aware of any efforts to write some sort of replacement for it.
