Joseph Weiner commented on DERBY-3952:
--------------------------------------
Have the same issue. I can't get the plug-in to "Add the Derby Nature" even
after moving Eclipse to a directory path that contains no spaces. I can
connect to the Derby DB using the cmd window. I have other plug-ins installed
and none appear to have issues with spaces in the directory paths. If the bug
is really Trivial, then at a minimum some documentation in the installation
instructions on a workaround would be extremely helpful and not such a
hinderance to adopting the DB.
Thanks!

> Project: Derby
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Eclipse Plug-in
> Affects Versions: 10.4.2.0
> Environment: Windows , Eclipse Europa
> Reporter: Lahiru Sandakith Gallege
> Priority: Trivial
>
> I just installed Apache Derby Plugin on Eclipse Europa on Ubuntu and Windows
> and it work fine of both platforms.
> Just want to report that if Eclipse placed on a path containing spaces like
> Program Files in windows, it fails at the time when we go to start the Derby
> Network Server after that we add the Derby nature to the project saying Class
> Not Found .
> I think this is just a path related problem, if eclipse placed on path like
> C:\eclipse it works fine
> Minor Nice to have a feature ..
> Thanks
