If someone is going to investigate this issue, they will need more information.
For example: What kind of query is slow? What kind of data is being fetched?
How big are the tables? What's "too much time"? (seconds? minutes?) Is it only
slow when running in mixed Windows/Linux environments, or is it also slow when
running Windows<->Windows or Linux<->Linux?
