With apologies - I wasn't properly paying attention to what you both said. So
here's another attempt at getting a correct patch.
This one does have the ij2.out in it, no complaints about inconsistent line
endings, and does look different from the -2 and -3 patch.
It still has comments about no new line in the out files, but I believe that's
ok.
