Andrew is not available this week, but I think should be back on-line
August 29. I can ask him to look at this thread then or we can just move
ahead with what we think is a sensible solution.
I'm ready to just delete them and see what happens.
Haven't heard from Andrew though, he may have more information about why
the synlinks were added originally.
