Dear all,

Thank you for your help in readying 10.8.2.2, including bug fixing,
backporting, documenting, testing...
I am now progressing to the next bunch of steps for a release.

The next step on the how-to-release wiki pages is: circulate the
proposed release announcement.
I don't have much text on this; please give me your suggestions for improvement.

I'd to announce the release tomorrow, let me know if you are looking
at this and need more time.

Thanks,

Myrna
