Resolving this issue. Thank you Force Rs for reporting this and  verifying the 
fix!
Ported fix to 10.8, 10.7, 10.6, and 10.5.  For some reason the 10.6 fix does 
not show up in subversion commits but was committed at 10.6 rev 1212214.
