Preformatted text should not be used for graphic
------------------------------------------------
Key: DERBY-5655
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-5655
Project: Derby
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: Documentation
Affects Versions: 10.8.2.2
Reporter: Kim Haase
Assignee: Kim Haase
Priority: Minor
The "Using SQL Roles" topic
(http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/dev/devguide/cdevcsecureroles.html) uses
preformatted text (a codeblock in DITA) to convey graphic information. This
would really confuse screen readers. Sadly, we seem to have no way to create
graphics that are compatible with those already in the manuals (Developer's
Guide and Tuning only). I see no alternative to removing the graphic and its
introductory paragraph, for the time being at least.
