I am unable to reproduce here, so the issue must need your disk or
configuration.
Could you please
1) attach the exact create and select scripts you use to reproduce.
2) Check with your system programer and see if there is any sort of caching
that occurs with your disk configuration.
3) Try with a 10.8.2.2 debug build.
