I filed it in response to a specific user case where it would have been
helpful. Now with automatic index stat it is more needed. I think it hasn't
been picked up before now because folks just haven't had the bandwidth and it
is not a bug so doesn't get reviewed often with triage. I think it would be a
great addition and am marking it High Value Fix in case anyone finds that
inspiring #:)
