It would be great to have a global index for the Derby documentation. Often it
is not clear which manual has the needed information on a particular topic as
the information is distributed throughout the documentation set.
A global index with all the references, links and a notation of which manual
would be extremely helpful. A google search on Cloudscape global index will
show the old Cloudscape format which used a color coded link approach. I am
sure other formats would work equally well to communicate the information.
