Hi Kim,

Thanks for thinking about this puzzling wording. You're right, it doesn't make 
any sense. Looking at the code, I see that the column is vacuous because it 
always contains true. So the explanation of the column should just be "always 
true". According to the code, once upon a time the column was not vacuous. But 
that was before Derby was open-sourced. Thanks.
