Jeremy had a good idea that I'd rather not fall into /dev/null . But instead of a patch for the forrest page, which I realize is probably daunting to many, I thought I'd streamline the process.

I opened http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-222. Simply add a comment to the Jira issue with your information. The issue entry requests specific details.

You need to log into Jira to add a comment, but anyone can sign up for a Jira user id:

There is:

http://incubator.apache.org/derby/integrate/index.html

If anyone would like their project/product listed there please open a Jira issue with a patch for the page.

I was wondering if the Apache Derby website can have a place which lists projects/products that are
using/packaging Derby with them.

I recently came across some open source/commercial projects that have the Derby jars. A place
that could encourage users to list their projects and how it uses Derby underneath, will definitely
help in popularizing Derby usage.
