Halley Pacheco de Oliveira contributed the Brazilian Portuguese translation of the "Getting Started" guide and it is now available at http://db.apache.org/derby/manuals/ . The left-hand menu for the Manuals tab on the web site now has English and Brazilian Portuguese sections. You may need to reload the page in your browser to see the change.
