The work that I did on classloaders (but have not yet committed) could help with this. If somebody has an itch to work on this I can show them what I did and why I think it will work.

Thanks Andrew.  I  changed the title of DERBY-668 as  I think it is a
much more serious issue that the title implies. I also filed DERBY-1031 to Test loading Derby in a custom classLoader.

More and more users are loading Derby in class loaders,  but some
serious issues such as DERBY-700, DERBY-997, and DERBY-668 show that more formalized testing is needed.
