No such tool comes with Derby.
However, there might be third-party tools providing the functionality
you require.
I don't know the tool you refer to. Do you want some kind of
drag-and-drop with a graphical presentation of the query, or are you
just looking for a graphical user interface to create queries?
You might want to check out http://wiki.apache.org/db-derby/UsesOfDerby.
For instance, I found iSQL-Viewer there, which has some functionality
for query building/editing.
SQuirrel SQL Client has a graphical view of tables and their relations,
and functionality for query building.
Further, you also have Aqua Data Studio (http://aquafold.com/), but the
newest version of this tool is not free.
I have no experience using these tools myself, so feedback and tips from
Derby users would be appreciated :)
