Hi there, can someone with knowledge of the index-split and locking code have a look at
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-2991 It contains a reproducing example that deadlocks Derby with simple INSERT and SELECT statements due to a race condition in the b-tree split. If someone points me in the right direction, I could start looking. Greetings, Kurt
