Further to my message of yesterday, java -jar -Dderby.stream.error.field=MyApp.DEV_NULL MyApp.jar
*does* suppress the log file on both Mac and Windows command lines running the program as a jar file. So it's just a question of getting the exe to execute those same command options. Perhaps I need to change my exe builder.
