Thanks, I've made some progress. I used the FORWARD_ONLY ResultSet, and I've easily read through the entire table.
If that didn't work, I guess I'd have to un-jar the database to a temporary directory, do what I need to do, and delete it afterwards. Just an idea for anyone who runs into the same problem.
