The Derby developers are wrapping up work on the 10.5 release and
beginning to plan what we'll work on for the next feature release, 10.6.
Now is a good time to vote for the bugs and features which are important
to you. For the record, here are the ten most popular issues today
(according to
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:popularissues-panel
). Asterisks flag the issues which developers are working on already:
* in-memory DB
- global sequence generators
* limit-offset improvements
- boolean datatype
* index-split deadlock
- global case-insensitive setting
- full-text indexing
- derby server as a Windows service
- backward index scans
- "unique where not null" syntax
If your important issues aren't on this list, then please take a moment
to vote. To vote for an issue, just log into JIRA and then click through
the "Vote for it" link near the bottom of the issue's left pane.
Thanks,
