For the archives I'll just mention that Jan's question was answered on another mailing list: http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/databases-discuss/2009-March/000445.html You can add extra startup flags to the network server from the command line like this: $ svccfg -s javadb 'setprop javadb/server_start_args = ("-h" "0.0.0.0")' $ svcadm refresh javadb $ svcadm restart javadb There are other properties you could set too to change how the network server is started/stopped. If you take a look at /lib/svc/method/javadb it should give you a pretty good idea of how you can tweak it. -- Knut Anders
