feedback on automatic calculation of index statistics

This feature was introduced last spring by the 10.8.1.2 release. The 
10.8.1.2 release notes described two properties which affect the 
automatic calculation of index statistics.

How is this feature working in the field?
o Is this feature interfering with production workloads?

o Have you customized the setting of the properties which affect
